YWCA Ramallah launches a project to support entrepreneurial initiatives
As part of the association's
Vocational Training Center program, the YWCA Ramallah launched a project to
support and develop community-based entrepreneurial initiatives that help
empower young women and men economically and socially, as well as enhance their
capabilities in areas such as innovation and project development.
The project's goal is
to provide support and guidance to young women and men who are motivated and
willing to develop or create a pioneering and innovative idea that will benefit
themselves and their community, as well as to promote social innovation by
providing participants with space, tools, and support to help them acquire
relevant competencies and support their passion and ideas for community
solutions.
YWCA Ramallah received
dozens of applications to participate in the project, which were sorted by a
specialized committee, evaluating the initiatives and ideas according to the
specified criteria, and selecting a group of young women and men, who are
currently participating in a specialized training and guidance program on
entrepreneurship skills, business management, personal skills, and creating and
developing small projects, which qualifies them to present their projects and
ideas and compete for support and financial grants.
