Jobs and careers: Project / Field Coordinator

would like to recruit a new post in the position of: Project / Field Coordinator
Duty Station: Ramallah
Reporting to: Senior Program’s Coordinator –
Programs Department
Duration of Contract: One-year Contract with the possibility to extend
based on fund availability and satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
ü
Conduct field visits to follow up with the local
partners and youth groups to ensure proper and smooth implementation of the
project activities included in the work plan of the project.
ü
Mobilize youth and volunteers, especially young
women and men and all stakeholders in the activities and campaigns that will be
organized by the project. Support young women and men to lobby for their rights
and representation in local structures
ü
Follow up with the volunteers and youth
participants and project technical support and coaching when needed
ü
Coordinate all training/workshops and project
activities in the targeted communities
ü
Contribute to planning and designing project
activities and action plans
ü
Coordinate project activities at the targeted
communities
ü
Contribute to preparing the terms of reference
for the service provider and support in finalizing the contracting process in
alignment with the procurement policy
ü
Prepare the payments requests for the implemented
activities while ensuring including all the needed supporting documents
ü
Prepare progress reports for activities and
technical follow-ups, on monthly basis and per the supervisor's request.
ü
Follow up on archiving all project documents
(technical and Financial) on YWCA one Drive
ü
Conduct all meetings for all activities with
youth, stakeholders, and in the field with respective partners
ü
Follow up on the data collection per the M&E
requirement in the project plan and conducting focus groups, if needed with
youth to reflect on their experience and learning.
ü
Participate in project staff regular meetings,
and propose any developmental ideas based on field needs.
ü Any other assignments are required by the supervisor.
Key
Qualifications:
ü
BA degree in social sciences, business
administration or any field of relevance.
ü
At least 3 years of experience in NGOs, youth and
community development, and project coordination
ü
Experience in working on gender issues and GBV
with Palestinian NGOs, is an asset.
ü
Strong skills in communications, negotiations,
and problem solving
ü
Ability to work in a team and under pressure
ü
Good Knowledge of the civil society’s work, youth
field’s values, and community mobilization
ü
Very good skills in using MS Office programs,
Outlook, OneDrive, and other relevant digital tools
ü Very good writing skills in English and Arabic
